Customer Review

Looks way more expensive then they are!!

Contents: These tiles are fantastic. Easy to cut (with regular scissors) look great once on. A few hints: Use an exacto knife to cut a thin line in the top (metal) layer of the tile before cutting with sharp kitchen scissors. THis helps get a clean line. I have included pics below. I used for a backsplash and did not grout between the tiles. SOme needed a little extra glue to really stick but overall they are very forgiving. I put right over the top of tile I did not like and had no problems. Also, the seller was great- added in a few extra tiles to my first order and a utility knife plus a few extras on my second order. Great communication and very helpful. My sis-in-law recently got her backsplash done in stainless for an arm and a leg- mine doesn't look quite as polished, but honestly, unless you are really looking you can't tell that mine was not professionally installed (shhhh don't tell her!)

Contents: They are OK but some came with a glaze that is difficult to clean. The worst part is that they were slightly bend and I had to unbend them to stick them against the wall. Obviously the end result is sub-par as they are not completely flash against the wall making them seem almost concave. Also, because of this i don't know if they are peeling off because the adhesive is not strong enough or because they were bend out of shape regardless of my adding liquid nails on to the substrate.

The company first recommended we clean the tile and then wipe the tiles ...

Contents: OK! First I was a little nervous about ordering the stainless steel tiles since there were no reviews at the time. This company offered more tile (approx 11 square feet) for the least amount of money (compared to other companies). The tiles arrived on time and were exactly what the company described. Our kitchen has ceramic tile and we just wanted to update the look so we went with the peel and stick. The company first recommended we clean the tile and then wipe the tiles down with alcohol. We did what was recommended. The tiles seemed really sticky but we went ahead and applied a small amount of liquid nails to the back before placing each tile. Be sure of where you want to place each tile because it was hard to pull the tile back off when we didn't get the tile exactly where we wanted it. We used a utility knife to make the cut outs around light switches. My husband had to replace the blade in the utility knife just once. We are really pleased with the tiles and look forward to our next project with will be staining our cabinets!
