Beautiful Aug 23, 2023

I installed this mother of pearl tile on a kitchen backsplash. We were flipping the house and I think the combination of the black granite countertops and the mother of pearl tile was the winning combination. The house sold the first day on the market for 14,000 over the asking price.

Absolutely beautiful tile ! Jun 16, 2022

I love everything about the tile, it is beautiful and feels smooth, natural and beautiful. It took me a LONG time to decide on and I wouldn’t want anything other.

Absolutely beautiful. Gave my kitchen the beachy feel I was looking for. Sharp when you cut them so installation is tricky but worth the effort!

Looks beautiful! Jun 07, 2022

I do have some experience tiling and many tiling tools. This is my first time using natural shell tile. I loved the look of these tiles. I used bright white premium thin-set mortar designed for use with glass tiles. Make sure you press every one of the tiles down! I wiped the tiles repeatedly before the thin-set hardened to make sure none of it was above the tiles. The tiles are VERY thin, but pretty strong. I used scissors to cut the mesh apart when needed. I used a Dremel with a diamond blade to cut the tiles. Since they were so small and I read a lot of the reviews; I decided to use painters tape to tape the tiles I needed to cut to a piece of wood and then cut them with the Dremel. It worked well. Wear safety glasses. I also used a premium unsanded Polymer-enriched grout in white. It looks even better than I thought it would!
