A10909BKP12-Art3d Drop Ceiling Tiles, 24x48in. Black (12-Pack, 96 Sq.ft)
Used as wall panels Mar 27, 2024

I got a lot of compliments from people who thought these were wooden panels. The end result was good, but one entire package had corners chipped. I was overlapping these corners, so it didn't matter. It was really difficult to cut because the panel can easily crack.

Thin, fragile, hard to work with Mar 24, 2024

I really liked the look of this drop ceiling, but when I cut the first piece (following the instructions on the side of the box), the material cracked in the wrong direction.

Measure your grids. Mar 05, 2024

If your existing grids aren't perfectly square, these tiles won't fit in properly. My drop ceiling grids are fixed in place, so they don't move at all. So there's no room for adjustment. The tiles are nice, the quality is decent, but I'll have to return them and get a simple flat design.

Half of the boxes came broken Feb 25, 2024

I ordered $1,200 worth of these tiles, and half of the boxes arrived with broken tiles that I can't use. I contacted the seller, and they sent me replacements for the damaged boxes. The tiles were really lovely and straightforward to install.

Great ceiling tiles Feb 21, 2024

These are easy to install, and it's easy to wipe off any smudges. They look a lot better than what was there before, too.

Looks great, tricky install Feb 10, 2024

We replaced our entire basement ceiling and ordered seven packages containing 12 tiles. We kept the existing grids. The product looks far more expensive than it cost, and only two pieces were cracked in the entire shipment of 84. The installation went pretty well and was pretty quick (there was a lot of trimming, but the product is lightweight, so scissors can be used), but the finishing work takes much longer. We had to reinforce the tiles behind the larger lights and heating ducts because the product is so lightweight and flimsy. Plus, there were lots of gaps where the tiles met the walls, stairway, windows, detectors, etc. Once again, the product's lightness means it doesn't always lie flat. Overall, we're happy with our choice because the cost was low and the final look is great. Plus, they’re water and mold resistant.
